The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has blacklisted popular Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM1, for a period of six months following an alleged breach of aviation protocol.
According to sources within the NCAA, the decision stems from an incident involving airspace misconduct during a recent private chartered flight. While full details are still emerging, officials stated that KWAM1’s conduct during the flight violated laid-down aviation safety procedures.
The six-month blacklist means KWAM1 will be barred from engaging in private aviation services within Nigeria during the sanction period.
A top NCAA official, who confirmed the sanction, said:
“No individual, regardless of status, is above aviation regulations. Safety and protocol adherence come first.”
KWAM1 or his management is yet to release an official statement on the matter. The story is still developing.
