Afrobeats star Asake has found himself at the center of a family controversy as his father, Mr. Fatai Odunsin, alongside other family members, has come forward with fresh demands.
In a viral video, Mr. Odunsin accused the singer of abandoning him, and in a follow-up video, his family has now requested that Asake provide a ₦50 million house in Isale Eko, arguing that rental income from the property would sustain his father.
Beyond financial demands, the family is also insisting on a DNA test for Zeenat, an 11-year-old girl they claim is Asake’s daughter, alleging that he has neglected her.
A family representative made a public appeal, urging Asake to take responsibility:
"Even if Nigerians donate ₦10 billion to this man, just ₦1 million from Asake would make him happier. If you don’t want to support him directly, buy him a house in Isale Eko where he can earn rent to survive."
Asake has yet to publicly respond to these allegations and demands. However, the situation has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans debating whether the singer owes his family financial obligations or if the demands are excessive.
